Spring Break is now officially over. Bleh, I could’ve used another day or 12 for a nice long break. But even though my spring break was pretty dang short, I throughly enjoyed my time!
The majority of my week I was working at my new job. I was training and getting a hang of all the things that are gonna be required of me. I’m stoked about this new job, its gonna be great.
The last little bit of my spring break I got to spend time with my parents and their friends out in Centerville at my Uncle’s property. It’s now a registered tree farm! How cool!!
The weekend was spent relaxing, hiking, looking at wildlife, 4-wheeling, mudding, playing card and board games, and eating. I love food!
Now I’m back in the swing of things with my classes resuming tomorrow and the never ending cycle of homework. Currently I am trying to settle on a topic for a major research paper. I’m so indecisive, I want to write a book on all the things. And I’m having a hard time being specific on my thesis, currently I have a thesis for each topic I’m interested in, and they are all way to general.
I have a love/hate relationship with paper topics. I love having the freedom to choose, but I almost always end up wishing my professor just assigned a topic. That would almost be easier at this point.
I can’t wait for summer. No classes, no homework, reading for fun, fun in the sun, and time for rest and no stress. I could use no stress.
I like to consider myself a low-stress, chill kid person, but this semester has just been particularly hard and full of stressors. Hopefully now with a new job and more free time for studies it’ll be easier to breath and focus.
At the moment all I wanna do is sleep and go back to Centerville. May will be here soon though and with it will come freedom.
Summer…I can feel it coming!! The sun has even come out from behind it’s dreary clouded curtain and warmed up the air. And flowers are finally sprouting after all the snow and ice! It’s glorious!!
Summer may be a few months away but Spring will be here any time now!! 🙂 It’s gonna be great!
