Speedy Summer Continued

Hello again friends,

Since WordPress and my computer decided to spazz out on me, I decided to split my summer posts into 2 seperate posts.

I left off the last post talking about driving the backroads. So now I will continue on sharing the adventures that made up my summer.

So sometime in June, maybe even July, I met up with my parents and some of their friends for a weekend away from Fort Worth and for some time of rest and relaxation in God’s beautiful creation. It was so nice not to do anything but walk in the woods and relax in the cabin. And out in Centerville I have little cellular connection, so it is nice not to be distracted and checking my phone every minute.

Now aside from my adventures, I have also been working lots in the coffee shop on campus. It’s been interesting as traffic picks up with summer classes and the approach of the new semester. We’ve made acrostics and made up new drinks. Its been fun.

I’ve really been trying to make the most of my summer. Don’t let these posts fool you…I’ve had my fair share of nights where I just sit in my room wondering what I am doing with my life. But the few times I do have plans I enjoy them to the fullest. Like trips to downtown, visiting Sundance square and the water gardens.

There have been fun baseball games this summer and a family fish fry!

It has been a great summer, I’m not quite sure I’m ready for a new semester, but I know its gonna be a good semester!
